Week 5

In this week we learned about filters and font.

Filter:
We learned about the different types of filter and how to apply and how the filters change the pictures we have
We also learned about the filter gallery and the liquify filter
Now we also know how to use the history tool brush and that it return the pixels to the chosen history entry.

Moreover, we learned about the adjustment layer which used to modify the picture without affecting the the original pixels.

Text
We learned that the text is drawn using vector.
We learned also how to apply styles to text.
we learned about the different terms regarding text what do they mean.

Week 4

This class was all about layers which is the main thing about Photoshop

We learned about the types of the layers which are

Normal layers are added on top of the current layer.

Adjustment layers are used to modify an image without affecting the original pixels.

Layer masks protect areas of a layer.

Shape layers contain vector shapes.

Type layer contain text elements.

 

We also learnd about merging and flattering and how they differ from each other .

We now  know how to work with the layers too.

Week 3

This week wan mainly about selection which is -from my opinion- what you will use the most

We learned how to use the different types of the selection tool , the marquee, lasso and magic wand.

What the different between them and how they work and which one sould we use for the different pictures we want to edit.

Then we learned about how to edit the selection area by adding substracting or even reversing the border of the selection and we learned also how to edit the selected area by taking out some parts of the image.

We also learned about feathring which is how to soften the borders of a selection.

These are some of the thing that we have learned in this class .

Week 2

In this week we learned the basics of Photoshop

We learned about the layout of the program, how we can change some of the settings such as the display screen modes and the image and canvas sizes.

We also learned about the about the color modes and how they differ from each other, and what the foreground and background layers are.

 We learned how to use history palate to un-do anything if anything goes wrong.

Later on we learned about some of the tools in the program like the eyedropper tool, the paintbrush tool, the eraser tool and the gradient and bucket tool. We learned how to use them and how to change their settings like the brush size and so ever.
